Whilst swanning around the 16th district of Paris I came across, unexpectedly, a fantastic contemporary art museum in the eponymous building situated right next door to the Museum of Modern Art at the Trocadero called the “Palais de Tokyo”.
It is the only Paris art museum open til midnight and is packed with thought provoking and experimental exhibits covering all media’s such as photography, video, print and paintings to large scale rotating works.
There is no permanent collection and changes from month to month keeping it fresh and giving you a different experience upon each visit.
Amongst the exhibits I saw during my visit was the Flying Tape by Zilvinas Kempinas which was so simple an idea and amazingly effective in conception.
The most creative and fun museum in Paris….GO THERE!!
